What stays in your browser

The region and currency you pick are saved in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so you do not have to pick them on every visit. They are never sent to our server.

To remove them, clear this site’s data in your browser settings.

How we work out your region

Your region is worked out in your browser from your device’s time zone and language. The result is not sent anywhere, and your IP address is not used for it.

Requests to other sites

Game cover images load from Steam’s servers (shared.akamai.steamstatic.com). As with any image, Valve and its delivery network see your IP address and browser details; Valve’s privacy policy governs that.

“Open in Steam” links go to store.steampowered.com. Fonts and every other file of this site, except the Metrica counter, load from our own server.

Visit statistics: Yandex Metrica

This site uses the Yandex Metrica web analytics service (YANDEX LLC). The counter loads from mc.yandex.ru, sets cookies (_ym_uid, _ym_d and others starting with _ym) and sends Yandex your IP address, the page address and the site you came from, browser, device and screen-size details, time on the page, clicks and link follows.

We get only aggregate reports from Metrica: how many visitors, where they came from and which pages they view. Session recording (Webvisor) is off. Yandex processes this data under its privacy policy: https://yandex.com/legal/confidential/.

Server logs

The host that serves this site may keep technical request logs: IP address, time, page address and browser details. They are used to defend against attacks and diagnose failures. We do not use them to track visitors or combine them with other data.
